Duracell is Andre Diamant/Andrew Dymond, unique one-man live-drumming phenomenon from Lyon. Using lightning-precision playing on a stripped-down kit and electronic triggers to play 8-bit chiptunes, noise rock, he isn't afraid to acknowledge his influences via covers of the likes of Lightning Bolt, Aphex Twin alongside his favourite retro games. Duracell is mainly a live project but Andre has also recorded with DJ Scotch Egg. 'The chaotic drum rumble of Lightning Bolt meets the elegaic 8-bit video game scores of Turrican and Space Harrier in the feverish mind of Andre Diamant. Bass drum, snare drum, and modular synth meld together into a cyclone of sound that shreds clothes and scrambles braincells.' Plan B
