adaadat records
In just two 2 years' existence Adaadat has managed to combine the best of current experimental electronic underground and breakcore with a DIY, lo-fi/punk aesthetic and an accessible pop sensibility. Highly varied and never predictable except in terms of quality, the label has released the likes of Jason Forrest/Donna Summer and Japanese artists such as DJ 100000000 and Ove-Naxx, who played Bad Timing in November with DJ /Rupture, as well as regularly working live with Planet Mu's Shitmat. In 2004, John Peel made it his label of the month, reportedly seeking out most of the releases personally.

ommm
(adaadat)

Ommm (aka Edmund Davie)'s lo-fi indie harmonies have drawn comparisons to the likes of Mouse On Mars, space-organist Dick Hyman and The Yummy Fur, gaining extensive plays from the likes of Rob Da Bank and Mary Ann Hobbs. Ommm's debut LP Testing the Equipment on Adaadat combines rough 4 track recordings, broken/cheap/obsolete musical instruments with digital production skills.
